Costs to Own a Winery
It is often difficult to evaluate the true cost of producing wine. Small to Medium Wine Businesses need to consider the most effective use of funds when looking at production costs.
Processing costs for a wine business if built and operated, including labour, overheads and depreciation can range from $3/litre for a micro wine business to $1/litre for a medium wine business processing around 3,000tonnes. In addition storage and handling costs can range from 6.5c/litre/month to 3c/litre/month depending on storage requirements, and wine that requires special care and handling may cost 2 to 3 times more than this amount. Storage
A range of tanks sizes we can cater for most storage requirement in stainless steel and barrel. The majority of our tanks are insulated with cooling plates and connected to our advanced temperature control system. With space for over 3,500 barrels we are well equiped to handle your requests.
Analytical Services
Our range of services now include laboratory analysis. Using our specialised laboratory equipment we are able to offer quick turn around analysis for standard tests and export certificates. As an accredited member of NATA and the Interwinery Analysis Group our results are reliable as well as cost effective. |
